Soima is serving lunch guests weekdays at 10.30 to 14.00. Other times we operate as an on-demand restaurant for groups of +40 people.

Pro Ravintolat is joint venture by three experienced, ambitious and quality orientated professionals and Wanha Satama Interactive that is in charge of events execution at the venue.
Piia Järvenmäki is in charge of the gastronomical experience and Petri Tikkanen is in charge of administration, both who have acquired their experience from leading dining and event restaurants in Helsinki. Restaurant sales and marketing is led by two-time Head Waiter of the Year in Finland, Jussi Laakso.
The name Soima comes from 8-15 meter long ships that carried cargo by the shores of Lake Ladoga, all the way to St. Petersburg. Cargo to the capital of the empire consisted mostly of wood, but also of fish and dairy products, especially butter. On their return trip they carried luxury products from the city, back to Finland. Like its role models, Restaurant Soima aims to offer delicacies from both near and far to its guests.
